WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO GET STARTED

1] Go to play store / app store and download zoom android app / zoom iOS. To download in PC go to https://zoom.us/download.
2] If you want to just join a meeting which is hosted by your friends / staffs, then no need to sign up. Just go with blue coloured "Join a meeting" icon.
3] If you want to be a host and conduct the meeting, then you have to sign up.
Once you have the zoom account, you can go for sign in option.
                                                         

HOW TO JOIN A MEETING 

a] Using meeting ID 
b] Using meeting link

JOIN A MEETING USING MEETING ID

Step1: Open zoom. Click Join a meeting and enter the meeting ID which is given by the presenter / host.
Step2: Enter your name. [ This name will be displayed to everyone.]
Step3: According to your convenience, choose the join options.
Step4: Click join.
                                                       

JOIN OPTIONS:
a] Don't connect to audio: If you select this option, then your microphone is automatically gets muted.
b] Turn of my video: If you select this option, your video will not be visible to other participants.

HOW TO JOIN A MEETING USING MEETING LINK:

Step 1: Just click on the link sent by the host.
Step 2: Use zoom app to enter.
That's all. Now, you are in the meeting.

HOW TO PRESENT A MEETING AS A HOST

Step 1: Open the zoom app.
Step 2: Click sign up.
Step 3: Set your date of birth.
Step 4: Enter your email address and create a strong password.
[ An email will be received by you within few seconds.]
Step 5: Go to the email and click "activate account".
Step 6: Click the "new meeting icon" in zoom.
If you want, you can choose "video on" option to show your face to other participants.
Step 7: Click "start a meeting".

Icons present in the bottom of the screen:
1] Mute - To mute your audio
2] Stop video - To hide your face.
3] Share - To share your PDFs or photos during meeting.
4] Participants - By clicking this you can see all the members who are present in the meeting.
5] More  - To chat in the zoom group.


                                                


  

The most important from the above options - Participants. In participants page, 
a] In the lower left corner, click invite. You can see many invite options. With any of the above options, you can send a link to join. Most common way - choose "copy invite link" and paste in the Whatsapp group.
b] In the lower right corner, there is a option called "mute all". If you don't want to get disturbed by other's voice, you can choose this.
If you want to unmute all the participant, click on the 3 dot icons[...], which is present in the lower right corner of participants page.

To end the meeting, click the red coloured " end" option in the top right corner of your main page. There are two options to end the meeting.
a] End meeting for all - By clicking this, all the participants will exit the meeting automatically.
b] Leave meeting - By clicking this, meeting will be continued after you left.

                                         


HOW TO SHEDULE A MEETING

In this busy world, you may forgot to present your meeting. Here is the solution. You can schedule the meeting. So that you will be remained at the time of meeting.

Step 1: Open the zoom app.
Step 2: Choose schedule icon.
Step 3: Give the information abut your meeting like date, starting and ending time, etc.,
Step 4: If you want to allow the participants to wait in the waiting room until you accept their request to enter, then on the "Enable waiting room".

If you want to record the meeting for future reference, go to advanced option and click "Record the meeting".
