What is Amazon UPI mode of payment?

UPI is a payment platform developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), an RBI regulated entity. It allows you to make instant online payments between bank and accounts of any two parties by using a valid UPI ID, a virtual payment address linked to your bank account.

Steps to create Amazon UPI account:

Step 1: Go to https://www.amazon.in
Step 2: Click the main menu which is present in the top left corner. It is represented by three small lines.
Step 3: Select Amazon Pay from the list.
Step 4: Choose Amazon Pay UPI
Step 5: Click proceed.
Step 6: Verify using mobile number and proceed.
Step 7: Select your Bank. Once you have selected your bank, your bank account is automatically linked with Your UPI account.
Step 8: Create Your UPI pin by filling the required details. If you have already created UPI pin, then you can automatically go to next step.
Step 9: click continue.
That's all. You have created Amazon UPI account.

Note:

1] Use the same mobile number which was linked to bank account.
2] If you forget the UPI pin, then don't worry. You can reset the pin by choosing forgot UPI PIN.
